Side Cut and Retaining Wall Works – Bulleen
This video showcases the precise side cut excavation and retaining wall installation completed at our Bulleen project. Working with Bulleen’s typical clay-rich slopes, the team carefully cut into the hillside to create a stable platform while installing a robust retaining system to manage soil pressure and prevent erosion. Proper drainage and compaction were key to ensuring long-term stability on this sloped site. The works delivered both structural integrity and a usable, level area ready for the next stage of construction.
Council Concrete Crossover Removal / Demolition
Complete demolition and removal of an existing concrete vehicle crossover for a residential property.
Scope of works included:
- Controlled demolition of the concrete crossover using excavator-mounted hydraulic breaker
- Breaking out the full depth of concrete driveway apron, kerb and channel sections
- Removal of all broken concrete and spoil from site
- Excavation and clean-up of the crossover area ready for new works or reinstatement
- Traffic and pedestrian management with barriers and cones during works
- Protection of adjoining property, fences, and existing services
Works completed efficiently under council requirements with minimal disruption to the street and neighbouring properties. Site left clean and prepared for the next stage of construction or landscaping.
Basketball Court & Retaining Wall Earthworks – Croydon
Complete site preparation package for a residential basketball court and associated retaining wall in Croydon.
All works completed under typical Melbourne suburban conditions with careful protection of neighbouring structures and fences. The result is a fully prepared, stable platform ready for the final court surface and fencing.
Scope of works included:
- Full site clearance and bulk excavation to create a level, compacted pad for the basketball court
- Cut and fill earthworks to form the court base, including removal of excess spoil
- Construction of a timber/steel retaining wall along the boundary to manage level changes and retain soil
- Installation of temporary and permanent formwork, survey set-out (string lines and markers), and access tracks for machinery
- Drainage preparation and base preparation ready for concrete or asphalt court surface
- Ongoing site access management and tidy-up of adjacent areas next to the existing brick dwelling and boundary fencing
